Reducing Global Biodiversity Loss and Pandemic Risks: Nordic Perspectives

In recent years, biodiversity has been rapidly declining worldwide. Ecosystems are at jeopardy and with them, our very way of life. Research shows a clear link between global health pandemics and the biodiversity crisis we are experiencing. This growing problem needs to be addressed urgently.

In the context of the European Sustainable Development Week, the Nordic Embassies in Berlin and United Nations Association of Germany invite you to participate in a discussion with experts on the role of land resource use in preserving biodiversity and the structures and actions needed to curb biodiversity loss and prevent the next global pandemic.
