VEREINTE NATIONEN - German Review on the United Nations is the only independent, German-language journal on United Nations affairs.
Founded by the United Nations Association of Germany (UNA-Germany, DGVN) in 1952, VEREINTE NATIONEN provides ideas, analysis, and debate related on UN issues like peacekeeping, human rights, north-south-relations and the status of international law. Renowned German and international experts from academia, politics, media, and non-governmental organizations report on the work of the organization and its bodies. Moreover, book reviews, Security Council resolutions and other relevant facts and figures are regularly published.
For members of the United Nations Association of Germany the subscription of the academic journal VEREINTE NATIONEN - German Review of the United Nations is included in the annual membership fee.
The bimonthly academic periodical VEREINTE NATIONEN is published in February, April, June, August, October, and December with 288 pages each volume.
