Youth Participation and Empowerment in African Countries for stronger United Nations Online-Workshop: Stronger United Nations - Youth Advocates Workshop
The Stronger UN – Youth Advocates Workshop serves as a forum that brings together different approaches to youth participation programs that UNA Germany carries out with those from different United Nations Associations in the African region. It also supports the exchange between young engaged UNA members across national borders.
We want to bring together small delegations from different African countries, consisting of an official representative and two active members of the UNA in this country. Therefore, we invite all interested UNAs to set up delegations that will present their approaches and projects during the workshop.
The online workshop will be held on Monday, 28 September from 1:00 – 6:00 PM (CEST). It will be divided into 2 blocks that offer an exchange of different approaches to youth participation as well as a discussion on how to implement such programs in the respective country of each participating delegation.
