We are pleased to invite you to a public discussion on “Cities as Human Rights Spaces: Strengthening International Law through the Right to Housing" with the Executive Director of UN Habitat and United Nations Under Secretary General, Ms. Anacláudia Rossbach.

The lecture will start on 4 May at 3:00 p.m. in Berlin and is part of UNA Germany’s annual theme, “Defending Human Rights, Strengthening International Law: For a Just and Peaceful World.”

We are honored to welcome the Executive Director of UN‑Habitat and United Nations Under‑Secretary‑General, Ms. Anacláudia Rossbach, who will share insights on the role of cities in advancing human rights, particularly with regard to the right to housing.

Claudia Engelmann, Deputy Head of Department Human Rights Policies Germany and Europe at the German Institute for Human Rights and Expert on the right to housing will comment. 

The discussion will be moderated by Ekkehard Griep, Chairman of the board, UNA Germany.
